Mission
Statement

At Make Bible Disciples, our mission is to call all people back to God’s truth by encouraging faith, obedience, and worship rooted solely in His Word. We believe that what a person believes—and how a person worships—matters deeply to God. From the beginning, Scripture reveals the difference between human ideas and divine instruction, and we are committed to helping others discern that difference.

Our purpose is to guide individuals to seek the “old paths,” to walk in the way that God has revealed rather than the way that seems right to man. Through teaching, study, and discipleship, we strive to restore a faith that is built not on tradition, popularity, or personal preference, but on hearing and obeying the Word of God.

We aim to:

  • Proclaim the authority and sufficiency of Scripture in all matters of faith and worship

  • Encourage sincere, obedient faith like that of Abel, grounded in God’s revealed will

  • Challenge individuals to examine their beliefs and ask not only what they believe, but why

  • Point all people to Jesus Christ as the only source of truth, salvation, and living water

  • Promote unity through adherence to Christ’s teachings rather than man-made divisions

In a world filled with many voices, paths, and religious systems, we seek to help others choose the narrow way that leads to life and salvation. Our mission is not to follow the crowd, but to faithfully follow God—trusting that His way, though often less traveled, leads to eternal rest for the soul.

We study a lot about what Christ (Christianity) teaches -Acts 11:21-26

We study a lot about HOW Christ and the apostles taught - Acts 2:42-

...but WHY???

Too many of us have spent too much time emphasizing What and How without clearly understanding WHY!

                                    Question

What is your purpose?

What is your calling?

What is your cause?

What is your belief?

Why does Christianity / church of Christ exist?

Why do you share Christ (the gospel) with people and why should they care?

Again we have spent too much time trying to reach the world by telling them what and how yet we have not done a good job of sharing enough about WHY.

People who "get it" come to quickly learn that in order to evangelize the world we must operate from the INSIDE OUT rather than the OUTSIDE IN.Great leaders of growing congregations know this!  (for an example we spend a lot of time praying for souls to be saved rather than workers to reach souls. We spend more of the church money on NON evangelistic efforts and still talk about winning the world for Christ)

We must challenge the "status quo"

People do not "buy" or care about what YOU DO!

People "buy" or care about WHY YOU DO IT!

Starting today ... I want you to take some time to do some self examination.

"Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test?" 2 Corinthians 13:5
